Modern Mixture is concept designed to build the visual language for an online marketplace’s themed jewellery store. The brand wished for their online store to represent a meeting point between the heritage of traditional Japan and the urban futurism of post-modern Japan.

Drawing from the age-old Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi- perfection in imperfection; natural, transient and imperfect elements have been employed. Neon cherry blossoms, loud outlined bamboos amongst other elements blend ancient Japan with the cyberpunk aesthetic of a modern-day Japan, representing the evolution and change in society.
